We have developed a Herbal garden with some of the very important ayurvedic medicinal plants and herbs. Display boards with the it’s at a glance. Sanskrit, English, Malayalam and botanical names are kept along with the plants to give information.

We have been running a YOGA CENTRE in the same campus. Providing scientific and systematic yoga practice to the common public and patients attending the ayurvedic centre.

EFFECTIVE AYURVEDIC TREATMENT FOR DEPRESSION

Ayurveda, The Science of life, which has stood the test of time, offers a battery of treatment procedures for people with full fledged Depressive Diseases. The state of Depression had been documented in the Ancient Text books of Ayurveda like Caraka Samhitha and Astanga Hridaya. The Astanga Hridaya narrates and illustrates many symptoms of acute and chronic depression. They are all one and the same that we see in our day today life.

There are definite treatment procedures prescribed in the Traditional Ayurvedic system for treatment of Depression. Procedures like Shirodhara, Shirovasti etc are very efficient to cure Depression and chronic insomnia. Internal medicines like Kalyanaka ghritham, Brahmi ghritham, Maanasamitra vatakam are found to be helpful. These medicines manufactured in its purest and scientific forms are available in our Pharmacy.

A full course of three weeks treatment can alleviate the symptoms dramatically rendering the patient to a state of mental and physical well being. We at Ayushmanbhava has the experience of treating many patients who came here with a history of Mental Depression.
